A funny conversation between Daddy & Mummy
On the way to Shichida class today, Mummy started a conversation with Daddy. It started off as an airway of imagination but Daddy's reply set Mummy thinking hard.
Mummy: Dear ah, what if one day you came home and found me missing?
Daddy: Oh, then I'll bringing along the kids in search for you loh...
Mummy: So what will you do when you eventually found me and I told you that Im leaving cause I needed to find my freedom?
Daddy: Then I'll tell you I need my freedom too, dump the kids with you and RUN!!!
Mummy: {Lots of laughter}
As Daddy continued driving, Mummy thought about Daddy's reply. It is true that without kids, we will have more physical and financial freedom. However, what makes us stick around is the responsibility that comes with our marriage vows. We promised to stand by each other in destitute and sickness, of course, child-minding is a more tedious process than we imagined when we vowed to stay in love. What makes a strong marriage, is when Daddy and Mummy stays strongly in love and firmly believing that they are equally committed in keeping the family going.
