1st day after Donovan's Op

This morning, Mummy woke up with a jump. Nope, nothing had happened to Donovan or his wound but instead, the subject of victim here is Mummy. She was horrified to see Donovan walking by himself and in fact, jumping all over the bedroom when Daddy left the room for a brief moment. He seemed to have cleanly forgotten about his operation yesterday. Yes, a day op is a small op but AN OP IS AN OP!!! Mummy nearly freaked out when she witnessed Donovan jumping from the coffee table onto the sofa and back again!



I guess the most difficult part about taking care of Donovan post-op is to make him remember that because of his incisional wound, he should not be moving too vigourously, yet at the same time, make him forget that he actually went through something so intrusive. Daddy and Mummy and in fact everyone else have to remind him that he has a painful wound somewhere. Oh yes, he climbed the windows too, trying to wave good-bye to peh-peh who'd left for work. Below is the evidence.
