A glimpse of NE show

Brought the boys to Suntec City yesterday and on the way, we saw many TP and soldiers setting up barriers to redirect traffic intending to bypass Padang where the show is staged. We had to alight at the start of Nicoll Highway (sounds dangerously adventurous right?) and cross the overhead bridge leading to the mall. Coincidentally, the helicopter escorting the giant Singapore flag flew past when we alight from Daddy's car and the boys were busy searching for the source of the sound. The fighter planes followed next and that frightened Rei as the sound was thundering. To make things worse, the 21 canon firing was next and all we could do was to make a dash for the mall.

However, the highlight of the day would be the snippets of fireworks which we were lucky to catch when we were done with shopping. The boys liked the splashes of colours in the sky and Domi was still asking for more 'ka-booms' (fireworks) when we reached home. Told him those were fireworks but he heard 'fire goes to work' and accepted that as an answer for the firework's absence. Funny baby...
