Marina Barrage

Daddy suggested going to Marina Barrage to do some kite flying today. It is an open space tucked in a corner of the busy IR construction. On one view from the barrage we could see the esplanade and the flyer and on another view we saw nothing but cranes and containers. We enjoyed ourselves as the weather was splendid.

We spent hours queuing for the photo pass, then spent another hour queuing to get into the show. Daddy and Mummy had to settle for packed lunch and carry the boys while eating and guarding their queue position all at the same time. One look at the long queue of ridiculous parents made Mummy feel that it is even more ridiculous that she's in the beeline too. However, it pays off when the boys really enjoyed the show with the songs and dance.

The boys finally gave in to fatigue at 3pm and knocked out while Daddy's driving to ah-ma house to pick Rei.
