Moments before delivery...
Mummy didn't have a good night's sleep as Dominus was fidgety throughout the night? Did he sense the big event that awaits Mummy and Daddy when the dawn breaks? Mummy and Daddy woke up at 5am, washed up, took breakfast and left for KKH. Instruction was that Mummy has to reach the delivery suite between 6-7am. Dr KT Tan arrived to burst Mummy's water bag at 7am.
When she was about to deliver, the overwhelming excitement that she can finally meet bb made Mummy all teary. Mummy behaved like a big softie this time round. Well, Mummy can't helped it; 38 weeks of waiting reduced to the final hours to seperation, who can contain the mountaineous emotions?
Welcome! Doreitius!
Doreitius arrived by 11am. This little one wasn't at all hesitant to announce his arrival by his loud wails. This wrinkled and bruised little champion was definitely showing off his powerful lung muscles. As far as Mummy could remember, he was the only one who cried spontaneously upon arrival while Donovan and Dominus needed a little encouragement. Weighing 3.168kg, he is really the littlest amongt my 3 heroes. He resembled Donovan at first glance, and we thought he does look like Dominus too! Well, I'm sure the 3 of them make the best buddies!
What's next? When Mummy was pregnant, all she ever thought about was how to get her figure back (Besides thinking about the well-being of bb). However, when she has delivered them into the world, she had to deal with the added stress that comes with the seperation and expand her umbrella of protection beyond that within her to shelter them from dangers and harm in the world around them. Such dilemma sometimes made Mummy wish that she can keep all her babies close to her at all times.
