Donovan's first visit to GPA Dentist

Mummy wanted to cultivate good teething habits in Donovan so we brought him to a dentist at United Square this afternoon. The environment was nice with lovely and friendly nurses. There is a play corner near the front counter where the boys were playing before Donovan entered the consultation room. That was when the nightmare began.

Donovan was initially brave as he wasn't quite informed of what was to be done to him in the room. Mummy had spoken to him several times about having a doctor checking his teeth but he was really terrified when the doctor shone lights into his mouth. The room was nicely decorated with cartoon murals, television and toys. There was even a sunglass provided for novelty when they lie down for the dentist to check. Still, all these did not manage to entice Donovan to lie still. In fact, he was so terrified that he screamed, struggled, jumped out of the seat and dashed out of the room! The dentist was clearly shocked as it was her first encounter of a patient running off in fright!
