Donovan is discharged from KKH

After so many days in the hospital, I guess Donovan had quite enough of it since the novelty had worn off and the definition of 'hospital' had taken a new meaning during his stay there. Before, all his visits to the hospital was following Mummy for check-ups or visitation purpose. Those were relaxing. However, his hospital stay included frequent medicine feeds, temperature taking, pulse and heartbeat taking, blood pressure taking and the most hated of all, being isolated in the special ward where he can't go out at all. Peering through the window of the ward was heart-wrenching as he somehow understood that the vibrant life outside his ward excluded him totally.

Finally, Donovan was discharged yesterday evening. But we had to seperate the brothers as extra precaution so that they'll not cross infect. So Donovan went back home with Daddy while Mummy brought Dominus for a short stay at Granny's house. Mummy appreciates the individual time with Little Dominus since she hadn't seen him for days but she missed Donovan too. For the sake of their general health, I guess that's the only solution.

Little Dominus sure missed Mummy during those days when she was at the hospital. When Dominus saw Mummy yesterday, and granny refused to let Mummy kiss him for fear of spreading the germs, Little Dominus wailed loudly. So Mummy rushed over and carried him immediately. The body contact was therapeutic; knowing how our physical features fit each other seamlessly like a long-lost piece of puzzle. Im glad Im back by his side.
