Should I or should I not?

I know the time isn't ripe yet. But I can't stand sitting around and waiting for things to happen, cause it CANT happen if I continue bumming around. Donovan will be due for Primary One registration in 2 years later and I have done nothing at all that'll gain him an entry into any schools of our choice. Ok, first thing first. We HAVE NOT even decided on the school. So how am I supposed to have done anything?

Hubby says maybe its better for our boys to attend a co-ed school. The presence of the opposite gender may somehow tame the boys a little more. It would be unimaginable the level of destruction when boys congregate in an all-boys school. Still, we have not decided on this, have I said that before?

So what if we already have an idea where to send them to? We have no means to guarantee that the boys can enter the school for sure. By proximity, we are within 1km of YangZheng Primary (Mummy's former school) and 2km of Maris Stella and St Gabriel's Primary. By track records, Maris Stella is obviously a better choice but statistically, there are always more applicants than the available spaces offered, meaning we have to run a risk in the balloting rounds. Balloting always makes people uncertain and uneasy. Mummy would rather protect her weak heart and save the potential disappointment. So do we have to give up our ideals? See? We just can't decide.

If we have a target, it'll be easier to roll out our plans to get the boys successfully registered into the school. But to what extent are we prepared to go just for this? Moving near the school is impossible. We can't afford a landed property. Neither is Mummy prepared to resume full time teaching, get transferred to the school of our choice and register the boys as children of staff member. And after so many years of teaching in an all-girls school (including internship), Mummy is used to teaching softies, not toughies. Maybe its time for a breakthrough and for Mummy to sacrifice her sanity.

Have we come to a decision already? Nope.
