Fever continues...

The boys slept very soundly for more than 3 hours after they were back from KKH yesterday. I guess all the crying and the bargaining to reject medicine made them all tired. Baby Dominus was sooooo tired that he even slept on the rough texture of our bed without any bedsheets on. Daddy too, was knocked out along with them as he had caught their germs...

Donovan's temperature hit its peak of 40.5 degree celcius around dinner time and nobody can make him take his medicine. He cried his hearts out while everyone was cajoling him to take his medicine and he vomitted thrice in the process. Seeing that he is adamant about not taking his medicine, we had no choice but to give him the suppository to bring his temperature down. That, was also a battle in process.

Mummy thought of an idea to make them drink their medicine without struggling and crying; that is to make fruit juice and mix in the medicine! So Mummy brought Donovan to choose his the fruits he liked and bought them home. Mummy was unsure initially as she'd tried that method with their favourite formula milk and they detected the difference immediately. So she made watermelon juice and tried out with a small portion of medicine. BINGO!! It worked! On both the boys!! Yeah..... Finally, something that is less torturing on the adults and children...
