Big Boy Donovan
Donovan had always been viewed as a boy too mature for his age. Indeed, however we sometimes wonder why and how it was the case. Perhaps because he was the firstborn who had enjoyed undivided attention from the adults, or it could be that we were staying under one roof with an extended family including grandparents, aunt and uncle that he was interacting on a more serious and mature platform. Sometimes, Donovan's remarks and reaction to certain happenings amused us greatly.
There was one evening when Mummy was lying on the bed and watching TV with the boys. Little Dominus was crawling all over Mummy and had cheekily hit Mummy's buldging tummy like if was a drum. Upon seeing that, Donovan quickly stopped Dominus and began to 'console' the baby in the tummy(womb la.....).

Donovan: Baby, (with hands stroking the tummy) are you alright? Just now Didi(Dominus) beat you, are you painful? I love you ok? (kiss...kiss... on the tummy)
Yesterday, we brought the kids to GV Plaza Singapura to watch Wolverine. Before the movie began, Mummy brought Donovan to the toilet to relief himself before he decides to do so in the middle of the movie. This was the amusing conversation that took place in the cubicle.
Donovan: Mummy, give me a while. Its my turn first. You go stand at the door and wait. After that is your turn. (these are the exact words which left Mummy speechless)
Mummy has recently initiated a big project to get Donovan to wake up and pee in the night and going to bed without diapers. However, with the recent Bronchitis and fever that is going on in the house, Mummy found that she has hardly any energy to sustain any kind of effort that is more than necessary. Still, Donovan managed to successfully wake up to pee under the supervision of Grandma. Mummy was so proud of this big fellow, who surprises us when we least expected it.
Baby Dominus still a baby?
Dominus will be a gor gor in 3 months time. However, we still regard him as the baby in the house as he is still a relatively tiny chap. He is at his cutest stage now, where his babbling becomes clearer and more understood, and is becoming increasingly demanding. But given his innocence, adults tend to 'melt' at his unresaonable requests more than objecting to them. Yesterday on the way to fetch Donovan from Cherie Hearts, Mummy was playing with him in the car and requested for a kiss like usual. Dominus would usually comply before moving on with his own concerns but he actually rejected Mummy's request with a "no". When Mummy bugged him for a kiss, he affirmed his decision with a louder "no" which attracted Daddy's attention though he was driving.... Well, Mummy was embarrassed yet amused that this baby is beginning to have a mind of his own...
