Emotional weather
It was raining when we came home today. Little Donovan was in Mummy's arms, with both his hands shielding his ears from the thunder. It is especially on such stormy days which Mummy would feel exceptionally emotional about having to be around the little ones. In her opinion, there is nobody else who is more suited to nurse her children from their fears of nature apart from her. Mummy hasten her pace to reach home and was relieved when Little Dominus was well and totally oblivious to the nature's explosions.
Of course, Little Dominus was very excited to see our return and would wave his hands in the air to get ready for us to carry him. Mummy remembered this morning before we left the house, we could hear Little Dominus protesting in Jerrimie's arms. He had grown more aware of his environment and Mummy was swept off her feet when she first saw Dominus clapping his hands last week.
Busying with work and kids seemed to be the only constant in our lives. Sometimes, we had forgotten that Little Donovan is still a toddler. He's usual mischief and tantrums made him appear more mature than his actual age but whenever Grandma wrap him using nappy and nappy wrapper, Mummy would then be reminded that this little one with an oversized butt is still a kid.
Time flies when you are with someone you enjoy being around. But Mummy would always wish the rascals would retain their cuteness, innocence and ingenuity with only half of their energy!
