NOT AGAIN???!!!
Hand Foot Mouth? Nope, its the cousin this time.

I can't believe our lack of luck. In less than a month, poor Donovan is struck by the same merciless disease twice. ( Be mindful that he was just discharged from hfmd less than 10 days ago). Following the resumption of his CCC last Monday, he came down with fever on Friday. Paracetomal did not help much and his fever escalated on Saturday morning. He refused all intake of food and water which struck a chord in Grandma who knew too well that this is the likely symptom of hfmd. True enough, there was a minefield of ulcers in his mouth. That explained why he was whining whenever it was meal time.

Those ulcers grew increasingly uncomfortable so Daddy, Mummy, Grandma and Jerrimie brought him to KKH A&E at about 8pm. Dr Jason Lau ( a greenhorn) put Mummy off with his nonchalant attitude. When posed a question, he beat around the bush, refusing to address our concerns directly. Finally, he suggested to have a 3rd opinion ( from a senior doc) who gave us assuring diagnosis of Donovan's condition. Though he has the ulcers in his mouth, the rashes did not break out on any of his limbs. Instead, they were on his body and bums. The senior doctor recognised that this disease (ksjdnfsduhfidfrg.... Hee, Mummy did not catch the name) is under the same family as hfmd.

He is now resting at home, refusing food and water like last episode. But the only consolation is, he can be at home.
