What indeed is happening to us????

Luck, or the lack of it, is when everyone you love starts falling ill, terribly ill.

Desperation, is when the sick has to take care of the sick.

Impatience, is when the only thing you can do is to watch the clock tick by to the next medicine feed.

Helpless, is when the virus makes you vomit everything that you eat, including medicine.

Uncanny Coincidence, is when everyone in the family is sick, one after another in at least 2 cycles!


When we began to rejoice in Dominus' discharge from KKH, we did not expect that we had to pay a price for it. Just barely a week after being home, Dominus caught an infection which spun a new cycle of fever. That was the same day which Mummy caught a vomiting virus that robbed her of 2kg of her weight and stripped her of all her energies. The saddest thing here is not only being unable to take care of the boys personally, but passing the virus to Donovan, who began his series of vomit that very night.

After a tiresome night, poor Daddy who'd been taking such good care of us began feeling sick too. But being a man of iron, he could fight off the virus' invasion and continue to take care of us. Grandma and Gu-Gu both came home feeling sick yesterday. Grandma had a fever accompanied by body aches and Gu-Gu had tummy discomfort. So all of us had to stay at home to nurse ourselves back to health before we can return to school/work.
