Gor Gor Donovan, our little helper

Little Dominus is approaching 7 months old and while we hanker over his learning milestones, we seemed to have neglected the fact that little Donovan is growing very fast too. It was just a couple of months ago that he knew how to wipe of Dominus' saliva with his own initiative; a couple of weeks ago he could help to bring soiled clothes to the laundry basket and soiled diapers to the bin and yesterday, his teacher told us that she observed that he could speak in full sentences. Of course, I beamed with pride when I heard that. It is in every parent to want to find some bright streaks in their kids. Still, I hope I'll not follow my parents' footsteps though I know they meant well, to enrol me in so many enrichment just to find out if I have a talent for something, anything. After all, all I wanted for my children is to have a happy childhood and a positive attitude towards life. Really, when they are happy kids, they'll thrive naturally. Right now, we're just happy that Donovan learns to help others and hopefully, that'll shape his character.
