Our Birthday celebration(s)

Donovan is finally 2 and that makes Daddy 32!! Believe it or not, Mummy was hoping it'll be over before it even comes! Simply because this is the TERRIBLE TWO stage where there must be abundance of patience and time in order to survive and sadly, Mummy has none of the above mentioned qualities. Anyway, she painstakingly(not really) planned a series of birthday celebration for Donovan and he was thoroughly thrilled! Especially the part where he can blow out the candles on his birthday cake. He had been practicing that almost everyday during the week before D' day.

Mummy ordered a fresh vanilla cream cake with peach from Bengawan Solo to be brought to Donovan's CCC. On it was a picture of Roo, the baby kangaroo from Winnie the Pooh's family.

On the actual day, Mummy brought the 2 birthday boys out to Changi Airport T3. Donovan sat in the skytrain for the first time.

Of course, there were Ang Baos from the adults, a home-baked Kueh Lapis cake from Ah-ma and Mummy's must-go yearly photoshoot to archive his appearance in photos. However, we had to postpone the appointment as Donovan was still unwell.

Oh yes, what about Daddy's share of birthday presents? Mummy gave him a cheque; simple and sweet.
