Baby Language No No??? Mummy doesn't think so...

Mummy was observing Gor Gor Donovan as he wore a funny expression on his face this morning. He looked constipated and Mummy thought so too. Then he finally spoke when his face started to turn red, "Poo poo". On the race to the toilet, Mummy thought of the many languists and educators who do not support the use of baby language. How else can they know if the child is about to answer nature's call, in the most natural way?

Babies speak baby language. No doubts about that. Since the most ancient anthropology had been this way, why change it? Mummies understand it, babies get what they want, why not? Of course we can't be speaking "Mumm mumm, poo poo, shee shee and oor oor" in every sentence, but these are essential vocabulary during a person's first 2-3 years in their lives. We can't expect our 8-month old to ask for the menu or pass the table salt when he is hungry, and I can't expect Donovan to say, "Mummy, I think I am about to pass motion any second from now". If he does that, I'll be the one who'd pee in my pants.
